How we work.

Every Cadex engagement runs through the same four-stage process — discover, design, build, launch. Each stage has clear deliverables, clear gates, and a clear definition of done.

01

Discover
We start by getting smart on your business. Workshops with leadership, interviews with users and operators, a competitive scan, and a review of the data and systems already in play. The stage ends with a written discovery report and a recommended scope.
Deliverables
Typical duration

1–4 weeks,
depending on project size

02

Design
With scope locked, we move into design. For software, that means information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and a complete design system in Figma. For brand work, it means identity exploration, visual language, and the rules that hold it together. We share work weekly and gather your feedback in structured rounds.
Deliverables
Typical duration

2–6 weeks,
depending on project size

03

Build
Engineering kicks off in two-week sprints with weekly demos. We work in your tools — Slack, Linear, Notion, GitHub — and keep a live status board you can check anytime. QA happens in parallel, not at the end.
Deliverables
Typical duration

2–6weeks,
depending on project size

04

Launch & Scale
We launch with you, not at you. That means staged rollout where it makes sense, real-time monitoring on day one, and a defined post-launch period to fix the things only real traffic finds. From there, most clients move into an ongoing engagement — maintenance, optimization, or a roadmap for the next quarter.
Deliverables
Typical duration

2–4 weeks,
for launch, then ongoing

How engagements are structured

Fixed-scope projects

Best when the goal is well-defined (a website, a branding refresh, an MVP).

Retainer / product team

Best when you need ongoing capacity across design, engineering, and AI.

Strategy & advisory

For leadership teams who need senior judgment without a full build, billed by the engagement or month.
